It's modern and exceptionally clean hotel, has comfortable location straight to the centre of Madrid. The rooms are a nice size and airy with king size bed and a view of brick walls, for example and the staff are attentive.
Views are depressing.

Our twin room was wonderful with good bed and the bedroom plus a view of brick walls as advertised. The best thing was how attentive and flexible the staff were. Location - it was good, a subway station was very close to the hotel. There was an affordable restaurant, a large shopping mall and a shopping area next door.

The location near bus stop is good. We travelled to central Mardrid by bus most.
The room we stayed was very hot and dry.

The hotel staff was very helpful in carrying luggage and answering questions. The rooms were small and plain, but perfect for an overnight stay. Everything was clean and was as expected- Internet is 4e per night, which is not too bad and the connection is good.
It was very noisy in the morning, but nothing terrible-

Hotel quality and price very nice - quite a deal actually. Location in residential neighborhood might not be for those who crave action but I was there to see friends. Handy to bus lines, 55 to Atocha, 23 to Sol and Plaza Mayor, 34 to Prado and Cybeles, and to Metro as well.

The staff at reception were very friendly and a great help in planning my onward journey. Made calls to my car hire place as was unsure of location and directions for drop off. They called them and downloaded map off google. You make an effort to speak to them and they aee very happy to have conversation with you- unlike other negative comments about their helpfulness.
Perhaps the deco could be updated .

Room was nice size and comfortable. It was clean everyday and sheets changed. There were facilities like minibar, ac, heating as expected. Plus our room had a balcony and was very quiet. Staff although had poor command of English were very pleasant and helpful all the times.
The free wifi provided by the hotel was very weak...so slow that it was almost useless.

Only beca use of the special discount price and nothing eles.
I am a regular traveller. I strongly believe that the success of the hotel depends not only the price but on the attitude of the hotel staff especial the receptionist. My experience during my first stay in Praga is that the receptionists need lots of improvement. To me, it is not just by putting on nice jacket that you call a good receptionist. I hope the Management look into this problem,if not the name Hotel Praga may have to change soon. Good luck!
